On April 30th, our Technical Director celebrated his birthday!
He didn't get the day off, but he was special for the day.
We went to Outback Steakhouse, which we have not been to in a long time! It was great. I had myself a Walleby-Darned Down Under and Alex sipped his apple martini. It was great to leave Devlin with his grandparents while we had some alone time. Well, we ended up at Target doing errands, but that's okay. It was still a great day. He also was awarded two Blue-Ray DVDs (The Pink Panther and The Life of Brian) for his contributions to the paper.
The apprentice and I also shared in the celebration by eating cheesecake. Yes, my 5-month old had cheesecake. It was Grandma's idea. Write complaints to the Editor.
